Fresh from a sellout run at Edinburgh fringe, we welcome back Hannah Maxwell with her acclaimed new show. “Turn Your F*cking Phones Off” sounds like an instruction, but is actually a note to self. It’s her own smartphone she is worried about: not only the hold it has on her, but the data she provides it with….As she goes into digital detox, she retreats from doomscrolling and dopamine hits, but has an even greater fear of what she sees as a fundamental assault on democracy. I n a tremendous show, she delivers this analysis with equalparts fervour and merriment.”Mark Fisher, The Guardian*** Fringe First, Stage Fringe Five, Bragi Award and List LGBTQIA+ Award shortlist
